This 8-week journey will introduce you to the necessary basics to give actors a strong foothold to launch their career in acting. Weekly warm-ups vocally, physically, and mentally will help actors to get the most out of each training session. Weekly lesson plans will help actors feel more comfortable on set by introducing the vocabulary used on set and preparing them with commercial audition technique. Interview strategies, slating, and all types of commercial auditions will be practiced and critiqued. This on-going class will culminate in a professional showcase presenting the skills they have learned throughout the course in front of an agent and a casting director.
